Ryan "Dylan" Cortez

A professional data analyst with experience in SQL, Python, and Dashboarding

About Me

Hello, I'm Ryan Cortez, but please, call me Dylan! I am a self-taught data analyst with a passion for working with data and extracting insights to drive business decisions.

I've always been drawn to numbers and patterns, and over the years, I've honed my skills in data analysis and visualization through dedicated self-directed learning from Codecademy, and through practical experience. I'm comfortable working with a range of tools and technologies, including Excel, SQL, Python, Tableau, and Power BI, and I'm always eager to learn new technologies.

What sets me apart as a data analyst is my ability to translate complex data into actionable insights that can be easily understood by non-technical parties. I believe that data analysis is not just about crunching numbers, but also about telling a story with the data, and using it to drive real-world outcomes.

When I'm not working with data, I love to learn other programming languages and technological skills, as I feel that learning these can only help to improve my abilities. I also love to cook and bake, and you'll likely see me trying to improve all of these skills as much as possible.
